1.2 Your use of the Paper Scene website indicates your unconditional agreement to accept and be bound by the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of usage, irrespective of whether or not you choose to register with the website. We reserve the right to modify all or any part of these Terms and Conditions (including the products and services available on the website) at any time.
1.3 If you are a registered user of the Paper Scene website, we will notify you by email in the event of any changes to these Terms and Conditions. If you are not a registered user, please ensure to check the 'last updated' information at the top of these Terms and Conditions periodically to confirm if any changes have been made since your last review.
1.4 If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should refrain from using the Paper Scene website. Please note that by continuing to use the website, you signify your acceptance of any modifications to these Terms and Conditions. Kindly understand that if you refuse to accept these Terms and Conditions, you will not be able to place orders for any products from the Paper Scene website.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the terms "Paper Scene," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Paper Scene.

3. Products
3.1 We offer a variety of personalised paper-based goods for sale on our website. All items are made to order, ensuring that each product is uniquely crafted according to your specifications.
3.2 By placing an order through our website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself, including your billing address and payment details.
3.3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, suspicion of fraudulent activity, or issues with suppliers providing materials. In the event of an order cancellation for any reason no compensation will be offered, but a full refund will be promptly issued to the customer.
3.4 Every effort has been made to accurately represent our products, including descriptions and imagery, on the website. However, we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions, images, and other information are entirely accurate, complete, or error-free. We hereby disclaim any liability for errors or inaccuracies in product information presented on the website.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 All prices listed on our website are in GBP (British Pound Sterling) and are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). Prices may be converted and displayed in your local currency for your convenience.
4.2 We accept payment through various methods, including credit/debit cards and third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method. We do not store any payment information. Payment processing is handled securely by Shopify, our third-party payment processor, in accordance with their own terms and conditions which may apply.
4.3 We reserve the right to change prices for products listed on our website at any time without prior notice. We cannot honor any previous prices unless you have received a formal quotation from us, which is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
4.4 Unless stated otherwise, discounts codes and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with each other.
4.5 Our free delivery offer applies to UK orders only. Please note that "UK" refers to England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Territories such as Guernsey, Jersey, the Highlands, Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and others are not covered by this offer.
4.6 Paper Scene is not responsible for any local import duties or taxes that may apply to international orders. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover these charges. Please refer to your own country's rules for the prevailing rates.
5. Personalisation
5.1 When personalising products on our website, you agree to provide accurate and appropriate content. Paper Scene reserves the right to refuse to print any content that we deem to be offensive, inappropriate, or in violation of our policies.
5.2 We may refuse service or cancel orders that contain content that is discriminatory, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise deemed inappropriate at our discretion. In such cases, we will promptly notify the customer and provide a full refund if payment has already been made.
5.3 It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the content they provide for personalization complies with our guidelines.
5.4 It is the sole responsibility of the customer to carefully review their personalised designs for accuracy, including spelling and grammar, before approving the order. Once the order has been approved or placed by the customer, no changes can be made, and Paper Scene cannot issue any refunds for errors or omissions.
5.5 Customers have the option to use our online editor to create their own designs. While we strive to provide a user-friendly experience, Paper Scene cannot guarantee the functionality of the online editor for all users.
5.6 In cases where customers are unable to personalise their designs using the online system, Paper Scene may, at our discretion, offer to create a design manually using one of our trained artworkers. However, it is at our discretion whether we choose to provide this service.
5.7 By uploading any content, including but not limited to images, photos, or text, for personalisation, you warrant that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and consents to use and reproduce such content. You agree not to infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity or privacy. Paper Scene will not accept any liability whatsoever if any Customer IP infringes third-party copyright. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless against any third-party claim of infringement for the use of such third party’s intellectual property on the Personalised Product. You will be held responsible for any fees and third-party damages we may have to pay to a third party because of such infringement, and you will be liable to reimburse these payments to us in full.
5.8 Any photos provided by the user must be in JPEG or PNG format. We recommend that all photos provided are 300dpi for optimal printing quality. Paper Scene cannot accept responsibility if images uploaded are below 300dpi and cannot guarantee the quality of the printed product.
5.9 At times, customers may purchase a design but provide excessive information or wording that cannot feasibly fit onto the design, especially for items such as order of service booklets. In cases where a design is being created manually by our artworkers, it is at their discretion to determine if the customer may be required to upgrade their order to include additional pages, cards, or inserts to accommodate the provided information. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer regarding any necessary upgrades or adjustments to the order. However, the ultimate discretion regarding the need for additional items rests with our artworkers.
5.10 The customer understands that any information provided to us for the creation of their designs will be stored and used as per our Privacy Policy.
5.11 It is your responsibility to ensure that all content in a personalised product is correct, including spelling and irregular formatting. We cannot edit or cancel an order for a personalised product once it has been placed. Please double-check your order on-screen before confirming your purchase. For further information on changing or canceling an order, please refer to Section 6.
5.12 If you are uploading a photo to a card or invitation, images must be in JPEG format. We do not accept any other formats such as Word documents, PNG, or PDFs. For best results, we advise uploading an image at 300DPI or making the image dimensions approximately 1,000 pixels for the smallest edge of your photos. While we will accept photos with lower resolutions or image sizes, we cannot guarantee the image quality when printed.
5.13 Content Rules: We do not permit personalised products to include any content or material that infringes anyone's copyright, trade mark rights, or any other rights, contravenes any applicable law, or is false, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or promotes discrimination, harassment, or unlawful acts.
6. Orders
6.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Paper Scene website and place orders.
6.2 When placing an order on the website or app, you agree to provide a valid email address and real name for correspondence and delivery purposes.
6.3 Orders are placed on the website or app by pressing the "Checkout" button during the checkout process. By confirming your order, you are agreeing to purchase the product(s) you have selected, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
6.4 Upon confirming your order, we will process payment using your nominated payment method.
6.5 After payment, we will send you an order confirmation email detailing your order and any other relevant information.
6.6 Please ensure to check your spam or junk folders for any important emails directing you to complete your order and for next steps.
6.7 Our acceptance of your order will occur when we email you to accept it. At this point, a legally binding contract (Contract) will be established between you and Paper Scene.
6.8 Paper Scene will provide an estimated delivery or shipping date for your order. However, we cannot be held liable for delays that may occur with carriers or delivery services. For detailed information regarding delivery and turnaround times, please refer to our Shipping and Delivery page.
7. Shipping and Delivery

8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 If your Product(s) arrive damaged or with printing faults, you may request a refund or reprint as outlined in clause b. below. Please note, refunds will not be issued if the Product(s) are in good condition but contain incorrect content due to customer error during ordering. Refer to Section 4 for further details on ordering personalised products.
8.2 To request a refund or reprint for printing faults or damage on your order, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the Product(s). Please email hello@paperscene.com with your order number, along with a clear description and photograph of the damaged goods. We will assess your request and determine if you are eligible for a refund or reprint. Please note that we do not take responsibility for customer-generated mistakes, as stated in Section 5.2.
8.3 If you choose to receive a refund for faulty or damaged Product(s), we will refund you the total amount paid, including any delivery charges, within 28 days of receiving evidence of the Product(s)’ condition.
8.4 Opting for a reprint of your Product(s) due to faults or damage will be provided free of charge, and we will resend them to you at no additional cost.
8.5 Please be aware that we do not offer both a refund and a reprint for the same order.
8.6 For non-personalised items, if you choose to return the product, we will refund you the total amount paid, including any delivery charges, within 28 days of receiving the return. Please refer to Section 8 for further details.
8.7 Perishable goods, including gift food items, are non-returnable and non-refundable.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All content on the Paper Scene website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and product designs, is the exclusive property of Paper Scene or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property rights.
9.2 You are prohibited from reproducing, modifying, distributing, or otherwise using any content from our website without obtaining prior written consent from Paper Scene.
9.3 Our status, as well as that of any identified creators, as the authors of material on the Paper Scene website, must always be acknowledged if you intend to use any part of the content for personal use.
9.4 You may only use the Paper Scene website for lawful purposes and must not use it in a manner that infringes upon the rights of others or inhibits anyone else's enjoyment of the website.
9.5 Without our prior written consent, you must not copy, reproduce, crawl, frame, republish, download, print, post, distribute, re-post, broadcast, record, transmit, edit, communicate to the public, link to, deep-link into, or distribute in any way the web pages or materials on the Paper Scene website other than solely for your own personal use.
9.6 You are prohibited from using the Paper Scene website or any part of its content for commercial purposes without obtaining a license to do so from us or our licensors.
9.7 In the event of a breach of these terms, your right to use the Paper Scene website will cease immediately, and at our option, you must return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
IP Infringement Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our customers to do the same. If you believe that any of your intellectual property rights have been infringed by any product offered for sale on our website, please contact us and provide us with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, along with information reasonably sufficient to locate the material.
- Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Upon receiving notice of an infringing product, we will investigate and take appropriate action, including liaising with the relevant creator to remove the infringing product from sale.

11. Limitation of Liability
